Pelican Spa Guest Policies & Reservation Agreement
Payment & Occupancy
One-night stays require full payment at booking. No cash accepted.
Multi-night stays require a 50% deposit at booking. Remaining balance is charged to the card on file on the day of arrival unless prior arrangements are made. Credit card payments incur a 4% processing fee. Room rates include two (2) guests. Additional guests (age 13+) are $15 + tax per night. No rollaway beds available.
Check-In / Check-Out
Check-In: 3:00 PM – 9:30 PM (late arrivals must call ahead to make arrangements)
Check-Out: 11:00 AM Late check-out must be approved in advance. After 1:00 PM, an additional night may be charged. Lost or unreturned keys incur a $20 fee minimum.
Pet-Friendly Property
Pelican Spa is fully pet-friendly and does not offer pet-free rooms. Guests with allergies or sensitivities should be aware that we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Pet Fees & Rules
$100 refundable hold at check-in
$25 per pet, per night (non-refundable)
Maximum two (2) pets per room. Pets must be leashed and controlled in common areas. Excessive noise or damage may result in charges or early removal.
Service Animals & ESAs
Service animals are welcome in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). A service animal is a dog individually trained to perform tasks related to a disability. No pet fees apply.
Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) are not recognized as service animals under the ADA or New Mexico law and are subject to all standard pet fees and policies.
House Rules
No smoking or vaping in rooms ($100+ per night fee). Quiet hours: 9:00 PM – 8:00 AM. No loud parties. Clothing required in all common areas. Guests are responsible for damages caused by themselves, their guests, or their pets.
Hot Mineral Baths
Included with overnight stays. Self filled with pure geothermal water 104°F–112°F, untreated or heated. Our private tub rooms offer a shower and both mineral and city water access. No lifeguard on duty; decks may be slippery, soak at your own risk. Children and Pets must be supervised at all times. Pets allowed in tub rooms if quiet and leashed; not permitted in water. No soaps, glass, candles, or bath bombs, oils, or salt products.
Health Advisory: Hot mineral baths typically range from 104°F–112°F and may not be suitable for everyone. Consult a medical professional before use, if you have heart conditions, blood pressure issues, a pacemaker, diabetes, are pregnant, or under the influence of alcohol or drowsy medications. Please take a moment to review the following details about certain rooms before check-in so you know what to expect during your stay.
Aqua Room: The Aqua Room is the only room on the property with a private hot mineral bath located inside the room. This room is not pet-friendly and is situated directly off the main spa lobby, so some lobby activity may be heard and it may not be ideal for light sleepers. Filling the mineral tub may be subject to availability during spa business hours.
Blue Room: The Blue Room does not include a shower in the unit. A private toilet and sink are provided in the room. Shower access is available in the hot mineral bath tub rooms during business hours and is subject to availability and possible wait times.
PAM 10: PAM 10 is located directly off Main Street, so some street noise may occasionally be heard. This is one of our most affordable accommodations and features an open-air outdoor shower located behind the unit. Guests may also access showers in the hot mineral bath tub rooms during business hours, subject to availability and wait times.
Pink Pelican Courtyard: Rooms 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 are located upstairs and require stair access.
Offsite Units: Room 405 and Annex A, B, and C are located offsite from the main property. Room 405 is attached to a private event gallery, and occasional event noise may occur.
If these accommodations do not meet your needs, reservation changes must be made by contacting Pelican Spa directly or the third-party booking platform used. Availability is limited and changes cannot be guaranteed.
